Teeny tiny tots
This 45 minute class is for our 18 month to 3 1/2 year olds. Through structured play and movement, dancers will use their bodies and imaginations to work on gross motor skills, social skills and have fun! Adult participation is required for this class.
In this 55 minute class, dancers will learn basic steps and terminology in ballet and tap. Dancers will also explore their own creative movement styles through the use of imaginative music and games in a safe, positive environment. This class aims to provide a strong foundation for continued dance training, including improved flexibility and coordination, as well as a love for dance itself! This class will also help students work on classroom skills, such as following directions, listening and working with others.

Through this 85 minute class, dancers will learn foundational skills in 3 styles of dance: ballet, tap and jazz. Dancers will gain better understanding for proper alignment of the body and overall coordination. The tap portion will focus on the basics of tap, while teaching musicality and rhythm. The jazz portion of the class will begin to develop student’s flexibility and balance skills through fun, age appropriate movement and exercise.

This 30 minute class will help dancers embrace the expressive motions that tell a story. Students will explore how lyrical dance emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story. Basic ballet and jazz technique and terminology are used in this class. This is a great add-on to a combo class!
Wednesday 6:30 pm
This energetic 30 minute class combines rhythm, coordination, musicality and choreography without suggestive music or movements. Students will be challenged to think on their feet while enjoying this fast-paced class. Dancers will continue to improve their focus, strength and agility. Strength and stamina are a necessity for hip hop dance, so an upper and lower body conditioning will be incorporated into the warm up!

Ballet is the foundation of most dance forms. Students will learn classical ballet techniques and terminology. Each class will include barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations.55 minute class
Tuesday 5:00 pm
Dancers will explore partnering and weight sharing exercises combined with basic techniques and skills from ballet and jazz styles. Lyrical dance emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. It is strongly recommended to pair this class with the ballet class.
Tuesday 4:00 pm
Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles, with exercises focused on building flexibility of the knee and ankle. A strong emphasis will be placed on developing proper technique, producing clear tap sounds and having fun!
Thursday 5:00 pm
Jazz class will focus on learning proper dance technique. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz dance to help develop a well-rounded dancer. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement.

These classes are great for the beginner dancer, or for someone looking to brush up and stay active! Our Cardio Dance class will focus on improving stamina, coordination, balance and flexibility! Try our Adult Tapas class, where we will dive into a new style every few weeks! We will explore jazz, hip hop, ballet, and tap styles!
